Essential job responsibilities:
- Lead a portfolio of digital and technology projects within the energy industry.
- Manage multiple projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across technical, operational, and business areas.
- Translate client and business needs into clear project priorities, plans, and deliverables.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across the project portfolio and define appropriate mitigation plans.
- Establish clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations for project teams.
- Monitor project performance and provide senior leadership with accurate updates, indicators, and recommendations.
- Support resource planning and allocation across multiple projects and programs.
- Promote the adoption of innovative technologies and digital solutions, including automation, robotics, 3D technologies, data, and industrial software.
- Identify opportunities to expand the use of digital solutions across existing client programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Solid experience managing complex projects, programs, or project portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of the energy industry.
- Experience leading digital or technology-driven projects in industrial environments.
- Understanding of industrial software, data solutions, automation, robotics, AI, or other emerging technologies.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage senior stakeholders.
- Experience with capital projects is highly desirable.
- Availability to travel as required.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Houston.
Must-have qualifications:
- Energy industry experience;
- Digital or technology background;
- Project or program management experience.
