Senior Construction Business Development Manager

This is a remote position.

A growing Midwest general contractor is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to generate new commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction opportunities.The ideal candidate has strong construction industry relationships, an established Midwest network, and a proven record of generating measurable project revenue. Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial and industrial construction opportunities.
• Build relationships with developers, brokers, architects, owners, and contractors.
• Identify projects early and secure negotiated construction opportunities.
• Manage the business development pipeline from initial contact through contract award.
• Work closely with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of construction business development or sales experience.
• Experience with a general contractor or design-build company.
• Strong commercial or industrial construction background.
• Established relationships across South Dakota and the Midwest.
• Proven success generating project revenue and new contracts.
• Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Active network of developers, commercial real estate brokers, and corporate owners.
• Experience with metal buildings, steel construction, pre-engineered buildings, or industrial facilities.
• Track record of generating more than $5 million in annual project revenue.
