Job Title: Venture Incubation & Acceleration Associate

Location: Trinity East, Dublin

Type: Full-time, In person

About IoT Tribe

IoT Tribe is a global ecosystem builder accelerating the growth and adoption of disruptive, reliable and affordable net-zero energy technologies. We design and deliver equity-free accelerators, support startups, and facilitate partnerships with leading corporates and government agencies across energy, smart infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, aerospace and defence.

The role

We are hiring a highly organised and proactive Venture Incubation & Acceleration Associate to support the smooth delivery of IoT Tribe’s innovation programmes.

You will coordinate participant operations, events, mentors and experts, digital platforms, and programme data. Your work will help create a well-organised, high-quality experience for startups, corporate partners, experts and colleagues.

Your initial focus will be a flagship corporate incubation programme delivered with ESB and in partnership with Trinity. You will also contribute to IoT Tribe’s wider portfolio of acceleration activities as programme needs evolve.

This role is well suited to someone early in their career who enjoys creating structure, maintaining reliable systems and helping complex programmes run smoothly. You will be comfortable working independently, while keeping colleagues and stakeholders informed.

What you will do

Programme delivery and participant experience

  • Coordinate day-to-day programme operations, including schedules, participant communications, trackers and delivery checklists.
  • Support participant onboarding by ensuring teams receive the relevant materials, templates, platform access and programme information.
  • Maintain programme calendars and communicate key dates, deadlines and deliverables clearly and promptly.
  • Help deliver a consistent, responsive and professional participant experience throughout each programme.

Events and logistics

  • Organise the practical delivery of workshops, webinars, networking events, pitch days and ecosystem activities.
  • Coordinate venue, meeting-room, attendee, supplier and run-of-show logistics at Trinity East and external venues.
  • Prepare delivery materials and ensure event information is accurate, complete and shared with the right people in advance.

Mentors, experts and stakeholders

  • Coordinate mentor and expert engagement, including maintaining records, booking sessions and communicating schedules.
  • Support mentor and expert onboarding and prepare briefing materials where required.
  • Maintain clear communication with programme participants, mentors, experts, corporate partners and internal colleagues.

Platforms, data and reporting

  • Administer accelerator programmes on IoT Tribe’s digital platform, Tribe Space, including user access, forms, templates, programme resources and content updates.
  • Maintain accurate programme records and agreed KPIs, including applications, attendance, participation, engagement and completion data.
  • Prepare reliable information and data inputs for monthly reports and stakeholder presentations by agreed deadlines.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve processes, templates, trackers and participant experience.

Recruitment and community support

  • Support programme recruitment activities, including distributing application information, coordinating office hours and maintaining applicant communications.
  • Support alumni, community and ecosystem engagement activities where required.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to provide accurate programme information, updates and delivery requirements.
  • Undertake reasonable ad hoc operational tasks that support programme delivery, particularly during active recruitment, event and programme-delivery periods.

What success looks like

During your first 6–12 months, you will be expected to:

  • Maintain accurate schedules, participant records, digital-platform content and programme communications.
  • Deliver workshops and events with logistics completed on time and stakeholders appropriately briefed.
  • Ensure participants, mentors and experts have clear onboarding and reliable access to the systems and information they need.
  • Provide accurate, timely programme data for monthly reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Improve one or more operational processes, such as onboarding, mentor scheduling, event run sheets, programme trackers or data collection.

What you will bring

Essential

  • Up to two years’ relevant professional experience, or demonstrable transferable experience through internships, university projects, volunteering, events or community activity.
  • Strong organisational skills, close attention to detail and a reliable approach to following through on commitments.
  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, including calendars, shared documents, presentations and spreadsheets.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and meet agreed deadlines with support from the wider team.
  • Ability to anticipate operational dependencies, identify risks early and communicate practical solutions.
  • A proactive, collaborative and service-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to learn new digital platforms and systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and maintain confidentiality.
  • Legal authorisation to work in Ireland.

Desirable

  • Experience coordinating events, projects, programmes, communities or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Familiarity with startups, innovation, energy, technology, higher-education or corporate-partnership environments.
  • Experience with community-management, CRM, project-management, low-code/no-code or learning-platform tools.
  • Basic data analysis and visualisation skills using Excel or Google Sheets, such as filters, formulas, pivots or simple dashboards.

Practical information

  • The role is based at Trinity East, Dublin and requires regular in-person attendance.
  • Some flexibility in working hours may be required during events, workshops or pitch days, including some evening work.
  • Some international travel may be required.
  • We are looking to appoint the successful candidate as soon as possible. Please include your notice period and earliest available start date in your application.
