SAP Basis Administrator

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering
• More than 7 years of SAP Basis experience with both ABAP and Java stack systems
• Experience with the following is a must:
  • SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM, SAP MDG, SAP GRC, SAP SCM, Fiori
• Good understanding of SAP Cloud Architecture, HCI Middleware setup and SuccessFactors integration with on-premise SAP environments.
• Operating SAP systems on HANA/DB2/SQL Server/Oracle as the underlying databases.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
• Demonstrate ability to work well within a team, collaborate with various people and organizations to develop win/win results.
• High level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people, and systems.

Projects

Installation and administration of ABAP & Java based systemsPerform system upgrades, refreshes, client copies including day to day Basis related activitiesSupport migration of SAP systems across Datacenters; Cloud migration in a IAAS setup
• Monitoring of SAP systems and Performance Health Check-Up
• Work with Project and Support teams in conjunction
• Work with DBA and Security team to support Infrastructure group
• Able to support Transport management team and have a good understanding of change management process

Key responsibilities

• Installation and administration of ABAP & Java based systems

• Support migration of SAP systems across Datacenters; Cloud migration in a IAAS setup
• Monitoring of SAP systems and Performance Health Check-Up
• Work with Project and Support teams in conjunction
• Work with DBA and Security team to support Infrastructure group
• Able to support Transport management team and have a good understanding of change management process

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience with large scale homogenous/heterogenous SAP migrations, Large Cloud migration projects is desired.
• In addition, experience with at least two of the following is a plus:
  • PO
• SAP ME/MII
• OpenText Suite of products
• SAP GTS
• Solution Manager 7.2
• Cloud solutions including SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, BTP, & C4C.
• At least one full life cycle implementation is desired
• Windows/Linux/AIX administration and management of SAP systems in a virtualization/Hyperscaler context is a big plus
