Role Description This full-time hybrid role is based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Social Content Manager and Trader will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social channels to showcase trading insights, market commentary, and company updates. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing social media calendars, writing posts, producing short-form video or visual content, and monitoring engagement to refine strategy. The role also involves actively trading, applying at least three years of trading experience to execute strategies, monitor positions, analyze market data, and contribute performance reports. Collaboration with other traders and team members to align content with live trading activity and broader business goals is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated trading experience of at least 3 years, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, risk management, and trading platforms.
• Proven ability to manage social media channels, develop content plans, and create engaging written and visual content tailored to trading and finance audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret market data, track performance metrics, and use insights to adjust trading and content strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy, clarity, and audience-appropriate tone.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Sydney, NSW, with the ability to collaborate in person and independently from home.
• High level of integrity, discipline, and adherence to compliance and ethical standards in trading and public communications.
• Experience with social media management tools, charting platforms, and basic design or video-editing software is beneficial.
• Relevant education in finance, economics, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
