About the Opportunity

Our client is advancing a major Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Modernization Program focused on strengthening technology, data, and AI capabilities across the organization. As part of this transformation, the AI Business Enablement workstream is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, governance, and execution across strategic AI initiatives.

This is an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, business and technology teams, the Data Office, and external consulting partners to translate AI priorities into structured plans, measurable outcomes, and successful delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project planning and execution across AI Business Enablement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, WBS, milestones, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
• Drive alignment across business, technology, data, leadership, and consulting partners.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and dependencies (RAID) through resolution.
• Lead governance activities, Workstream Lead reviews, and Steering Committee reporting.
• Prepare concise, executive-level reporting on progress, risks, issues, budget, dependencies, and priorities.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of AI governance across relevant business and technology teams.
• Support budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Maintain clear accountability through effective RACI and stakeholder management.
• Support the Program Manager and Sponsor with executive presentations and strategic program deliverables.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing projects involving AI, Data, Analytics, or emerging technologies.
• Strong project management expertise across planning, WBS, milestones, governance, RAID, financial tracking, and executive reporting.
• Experience working within structured program governance and phase-gate delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, particularly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience coordinating external consulting or delivery partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to bring structure, accountability, and execution discipline to complex and evolving initiatives.

Nice to Have

• AI governance / Responsible AI experience.
• Data governance or enterprise data management experience.
• Enterprise AI enablement or adoption program experience.
• Large-scale technology transformation experience.
• PMP, Agile, or comparable project/program management certification.
