eCommerce Manager - Animal Health

THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable eCommerce Manager to join our Animal Health Team, based in Budapest, Hungary:

Who is responsible for driving profitable digital sales growth and delivering a superior customer experience across all online channels. The role owns end-to-end eCommerce performance, including commercial strategy, digital execution, marketplace management, and data-driven optimization aligned with overall business objectives.

The eCommerce Manager defines and executes the digital marketing and eCommerce strategy for the OTC, Pet, and Para portfolio across all relevant online channels within the country.
The role drives retail sales growth by ensuring best-in-class eCommerce activations, optimized digital shelf presence, and effective management of eRetail media investments.

Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders, the eCommerce Manager ensures consistent execution, maximizes visibility, and improves conversion across all eCommerce platforms. The role also ensures full compliance with applicable OTC and pet/para regulatory requirements.Strong collaboration with regional and local Technical and Customer facing functions.

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or online account management, preferable in FMCG.
Proven experience with eCommerce, eRetail media, digital shelf metrics and content management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Digital or related fields


• Strong commercial acumen, with a clear focus on driving sales growth, profitability, and return on investment


• Relevant experience in Trade/Customer Marketing, ideally within FMCG (retail environment), veterinary/pet channels, or digital/eRetail roles, with a strong understanding of marketplace dynamics


• Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment


• Solid understanding of customer marketing channels and tactics, including their respective strengths, limitations, and optimal use cases in the digital landscape


• Creative and proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and develop innovative solutions to drive performance


• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and align cross-functional stakeholders


• Strong financial and analytical understanding, including budgeting, forecasting, and evaluation of promotional effectiveness and ROI


• Proficient in English, both written and verbal


• 
  Native-level or fluent Hungarian is required
