🚨 Hiring: Senior Data Governance Consultant (Long-Term Contract) | Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid) 🚨

📍 Location: Bucharest, Romania (2 days onsite - Hybrid)

📅 Duration: 1 Year+ Contract with a strong possibility of extension (long-term engagement)

Are you a seasoned Data Governance expert with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT?

We are supporting a client who is looking for a senior professional to help build and structure their Data Governance organization from the ground up.

🔹 What you'll be doing:

✅ Partner closely with business stakeholders to drive the Data Governance agenda

✅ Assess the current organization and define the future Data Governance operating model

✅ Establish and clarify roles such as Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Data Custodians

✅ Design governance processes, principles, responsibilities, and decision-making mechanisms

✅ Facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into a scalable governance framework

✅ Identify organizational gaps, dependencies, and drive governance implementation

✅ Challenge stakeholders when needed and influence key business decisions

🔹 What we're looking for:

✔️ Strong experience in Data Governance within large and complex enterprise environments

✔️ Proven ability to engage senior business stakeholders and drive change

✔️ Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

✔️ Comfortable operating across both business and data/IT teams

✔️ Confident, proactive, and able to lead governance initiatives independently
