SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR/ASSISTANT

We’re looking for a creative, organised and proactive Social Media Coordinator/Assistant to join our growing marketing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their social media or digital marketing career who wants to gain hands-on experience across multiple brands.

You’ll help manage our day-to-day social presence, create and publish content, engage with online communities and support wider campaigns across the business.

THE ROLE

Working closely with our social media, content and design teams, you’ll help maintain an active, consistent and engaging presence across platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, scheduling and publishing social media content

• Helping to manage weekly and monthly content calendars

• Briefing designers and coordinating social media assets

• Monitoring comments, messages, mentions and relevant conversations

• Engaging with audiences and other accounts using the appropriate brand voice

• Supporting promotions, competitions, product launches and campaigns

• Identifying trends, conversations and opportunities for timely content

• Researching relevant accounts, communities and potential partnerships

• Reviewing performance and helping prepare social media reports

• Keeping content trackers and campaign documents up to date

• Managing content across several brands while maintaining their individual identities

• Supporting other social media and marketing activities when required

• Has strong attention to detail

• Communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team

• Can follow a brief while contributing their own ideas

• Is proactive, dependable and eager to learn

• Keeps up with social trends, platform developments and online culture

• Has a strong command of written and spoken English

Previous professional experience would be helpful, but it isn’t essential. Relevant personal accounts, university projects, freelance work or examples of social content are all welcome.

Experience or an interest in gaming, online entertainment, cryptocurrency or Web3 would be an advantage.
