The Opportunity

We're working with a highly regarded independent financial planning firm looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual who enjoys delivering high-quality client outcomes. You'll work closely with Financial Advisers, providing technical support across a broad range of financial planning areas while playing a key role in the advice process.

Key Responsibilitie

• sPrepare high-quality, FCA-compliant suitability reports
• .Conduct technical research across pensions, investments, protection, tax and estate planning
• .Produce cashflow models and retirement planning analysis
• .Research funds, providers and investment platforms
• .Prepare annual review documentation and client meeting packs
• .Liaise with advisers, providers and clients to progress cases efficiently
• .Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory requirements
• .Keep up to date with legislative and industry developments
• .Support advisers with complex technical queries and recommendations

.About Yo

• uPrevious experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning firm
• .Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or working towards completion)
• .Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and tax planning
• .Experience writing suitability reports
• .Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• .Strong communication and organisational abilities
• .Experience using systems such as Intelligent Office, Xplan, FE Analytics, Voyant, CashCalc or Dynamic Planner is advantageous
