Ko wai mātou? - About us

As New Zealand's largest telecommunications and digital services company, Spark’s purpose is to help all of New Zealand win big in a digital world. We provide mobile, broadband, and digital services to millions of New Zealanders and thousands of New Zealand businesses.

We operate in an exciting and constantly evolving industry, where the pace of change brings new and unique challenges every day, so we operate using Agile ways of working to allow us to meet the fast-changing needs of our customers. Agile replaces the traditional hierarchical organisational structure to produce a transparent, collaborative environment with highly productive teams who are empowered to deliver better outcomes for our customers, communities, and all of New Zealand.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role:

As the Live Experience Specialist for Spark NZ, you hold full end-to-end ownership and accountability for a portfolio of complex live experiences, including sales conferences, awards evenings, client hosting and internal company events. You own these programmes from brief through to concept, delivery, evaluation and financial reconciliation, and you are the single point of accountability for their success.

You'll act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders - Leadership Team members, executive sponsors, senior sales leaders and senior client contacts - translating business objectives into experiences that surprise, delight, inspire and inform our clients and our people.

Working closely with the Live Experience Manager, you operate with a high degree of autonomy: making and owning decisions within your programmes, managing complexity and risk, holding agencies and suppliers to account, and driving continuous improvement of Spark's live experience offering.
