We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in

Wichita, KS. This role is responsible for the security monitoring and

response, network management, procurement, communication with Emprise

associates and vendors, and leadership.

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security

measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems, and

networks

• Troubleshooting security and network problems
• Responding to all applicable system and/or network security alerts
• Forensic and Data log analysis along with strategic management of

alerts and logs

• Ensuring that the organization\'s data and infrastructure are

protected by enabling the appropriate security controls

• Testing, identifying, tracking, and remediating network and system

vulnerabilities

• Patch Management, troubleshooting, and remediation
• SIEM administration, configuration, maintenance, and response
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the

relevant departments in the organization

• Stay up to date on current security breaches, news articles, forums,

threat intelligence, and other information and use such information

to guide security practice, identify potential vulnerabilities, and

discussion with management

• Cloud security management, research, and implementation
• Active participation in bank projects as security SME
• In-depth vendor due diligence
• Actively participating in over-arching bank security enhancements,

risk mitigation, and solution implementation

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or

related field

• 5+ years of cyber security/infrastructure experience required
• Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), SIEM,

Office 365 Security, Cloud technologies, and Endpoint Security

Required

• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography,

authentication, and authorization required

• Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on,

modern identity management, password less solutions or related

technologies required

• Experience working as part of a project team required
• Ability to be on-call for service issues/outages as needed required
• Project management experience preferred
• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, C++,

Javascript, Angular, Node.JS, or Power Shell preferred

• Experience with VMware and Azure/AWS preferred
• One or more of the following certifications preferred: CISSP,

Security+, CEH, CISM, CISA, GIAC, GSEC, GCED, GCWN, GCDA, AWS/Azure

or similar certification
