What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and frameworks
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing workflows
• Containerizing applications and managing container orchestration platforms
• Establishing monitoring, logging and alerting strategies to ensure system reliability
• Collaborating with security and platform teams to implement cloud best practices and compliance standards
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members on cloud infrastructure patterns
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and implementing solutions to improve system performance
• Documenting architecture decisions and maintaining runbooks for operational consistency

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

• 5–10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps or cloud engineering roles
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure, including compute, storage and networking services
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix system administration and scripting languages such as Python, Bash or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification
• Google Cloud Architect certification
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack or Datadog
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience supporting regulated or enterprise environments
