About the Role We’re looking for someone who owns the numbers — not just enters them. You’ll be the go-to person for financial accuracy and reporting across multiple currencies, handling the full cycle from transactions to financial statements with minimal hand-holding. Key Responsibilities - Support the full bookkeeping cycle: general ledger, AP/AR, journals, reconciliations - Handle multi-currency bookkeeping and reconciliations (USD, HKD, AED, others) - Handle e-commerce market place recognition, posting, categorization and reconciliation such as Shopify, Tiktok, Amazon, other online platforms - Process credit cards and overhead expenses posting, categorization, reconciliation between ledger and statement on monthly basis - Process inventory purchase with deposit, prepayment, installment payment. - Support reconciliation on payment gateways such as Wise, Paypal, major bank portals, Stripe, Airwallex etc. - Support audit preparation and drive process improvements - Collaborate with team members across Asia in a remote, fast-paced environment What We’re Looking For - A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a must. - Professional qualification as a Certified Public Accountant is a plus - 5+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience (sole-charge or close to it) ideally from the e-commerce industry - Working knowledge of US GAAP or HK FRS — you understand the difference between cash and accrual, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and how to classify transactions correctly - QuickBooks proficiency (essential) - Multi-currency reconciliation experience - Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUP, IF formula, Power query, data integrity checks) - Familiar with Google workplace - AI agent tools knowledge Personal Qualities: - Proactive and self-directed — you don’t wait to be told what to do - Strong communicator comfortable with cross-border collaboration - Detail-obsessed with a zero-tolerance approach to reconciling errors - Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision Why Join STERRY?
