Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer (React/Node.js/AWS) — Contract-to-Hire

Location: Hybrid — Newark, NJ (3 days/week onsite)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $55–$62/hr, based on experience. No C2C/1099. W2 only.

About the Role

• Join a major financial firm as a Full Stack Developer, building and deploying scalable web applications across the full stack

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component-based architecture) for building responsive, scalable UIs
• Solid backend development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and RESTful API design
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack (frontend and backend)
• Experience designing and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda)
• Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling)
• Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
