About The Role

We are seeking a talented Platform Engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to our technological evolution. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP environments. Your expertise will help shape the standards and best practices for our platform engineering initiatives, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable cloud solutions. You will work closely with development teams to implement and improve DevOps practices, automate infrastructure management, and enhance observability and security across our platforms. Your role will involve defining technical governance, establishing golden paths, and supporting the migration of existing applications to the cloud. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the technical landscape of a fast-growing fintech leader, working on innovative projects that impact millions of users.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
• Proficiency in Azure cloud platform
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, dashboards, alerting, tracing, and centralized logs
• Understanding of security standards, network configuration, and secrets management in cloud environments
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud-native architectures
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer are highly valued
• Experience with other cloud providers and DevOps tools is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment

• Design, deploy, and automate management of cloud environments, including landing zones, security, and networking, on Azure and GCP using Terraform
• Create and maintain standardized platform components, templates, and pipelines to ensure consistency and best practices in application deployment
• Implement and uphold observability standards through dashboards, alerting, logging, and tracing to monitor system health and performance
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools such as GitHub, SonarCloud, and Datadog for continuous integration and quality assurance
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline workflows, promote DevOps practices, and support their technical upskilling
• Lead the migration of existing applications to cloud platforms, ensuring security, performance, and minimal disruption
• Define, enforce, and evolve technical standards and governance policies for cloud infrastructure and platform engineering
• Contribute to the strategic roadmap of the platform, proposing innovations and improvements aligned with business goals
