Data Engineer (Contract role)

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer contractor based in Germany to join a cloud-focused data team, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure! This is a hands-on engineering role suited to a skilled contractor with the following.

📍 Location: Remote, Munich, Germany

💰 Rate: €30–€60 per hour (8 hour basis)

📅 Contract: 6 months, potential extension

💻 Working Model: Remote

🎯 Level: Mid-Level Data Engineer

Apply if you have:

• 3+ years commercial Data Engineering experience
• 2+ years hands-on GCP Data Engineering experience
• Strong commercial experience with BigQuery
• At least 2 years of hands-on Azure data experience
• Strong Python and SQL skills and Actual Azure project experience.
• Demonstrable experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines, not simply consuming existing pipelines
