Senior Full Stack Developer

As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead Modern Full-Stack Development: Architect, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services using NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript) and scalable web applications using Next.js and React,
• Maintain & Evolve Existing Services: Support, refactor, and maintain existing microservices built in GoLangand Java (Spring Boot / JHipster), ensuring system stability during enhancements or modernization initiatives,
• Cloud & Infrastructure Alignment: Deploy and manage resilient, containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL),
• Integrate AI Capabilities: Explore and integrate modern Generative AI / LLM APIs and machine learning services to enhance our personalized loyalty campaigns, smart deal and recommendations,
• Technical Excellence & Mentorship: Champion clean code, robust unit/integration testing, automated CI/CD practices, and mentor fellow team members through insightful code reviews.

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with proven end-to-end full-stack delivery.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with hands-on architectural experience in NestJS (Dependency Injection, modular architecture, interceptors/guards).
• Strong expertise in modern frontend development, specifically with React and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG, state management).
• Technology Versatility & Adaptability: Willingness and ability to quickly adapt to and troubleshoot our existing legacy services written in GoLang or Java (Spring Boot / JHipster). While active development is NestJS/Next.js-focused, we expect you to confidently read, debug, and maintain these services when required.
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL, Redis), including query optimization and index design.
• GCP & Messaging Foundations: Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services—specifically containerizing applications with Docker and deploying on Cloud Run—alongside solid understanding of asynchronous messaging (e.g., GCP Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, or Kafka).
• Strong problem-solving mindset, clean-code discipline, and excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Familiarity with Containerization & GKE: Basic knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE) and deployment workflows is nice to have.
• Experience with AI/LLM API integrations (e.g., Google Vertex AI, Gemini, OpenAI) is nice to have.
• Familiarity with microservice architecture patterns (Event-Driven design, BFF - Backend for Frontend, CQRS) is nice to have.
