Candidates must be willing to complete and successfully pass a Glider coding/technical assessment as part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain robust backend applications using Java.
  • Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business teams.
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate them into high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to automated testing and continuous integration processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Java/J2EE.
  • Heavy coding and problem-solving experience.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
  • Experience developing microservices.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Good understanding of software design principles and development best practices.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with performance tuning and distributed systems.
