YOUR ROLE

As part of Capgemini Financial Services team, you will advise clients on their cloud transformation and observability journey while contributing to the design and implementation of modern monitoring and telemetry platforms.As an Observability Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in defining observability strategies, designing target architectures, and enabling organizations to gain end-to-end visibility across cloud and hybrid environments.

• Define observability strategies, architecture principles, standards, and governance models aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Design and validate target observability architectures across cloud and hybrid environments, leveraging industry-leading monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing solutions.
• Establish scalable telemetry frameworks and integration patterns to enable the collection, correlation, and analysis of operational and application data.
• Define instrumentation standards, monitoring best practices, and observability operating models to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, platform teams, and business stakeholders to address architectural challenges and support cloud transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and knowledge transfer to delivery teams and client stakeholders throughout the engagement.

YOUR PROFILE

• 8+ years of experience in IT, including significant experience in Observability Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Platform Engineering, or Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven expertise in AWS cloud environments and observability platforms; experience with Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, LGTM Stack, or equivalent technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, telemetry pipelines, and operational analytics in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing observability solutions across hybrid, cloud-native, and on-premises infrastructures.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security, scalability, resilience, automation, and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in consulting engagements; experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services is considered a strong asset.
