Senior .NET Engineer | Frisco, TX | Contract-to-Hire A well-established technology organization supporting government applications is expanding its engineering presence in Frisco, Texas. The team develops and maintains a large-scale platform used by transportation and motor vehicle agencies, while continuing to modernize applications through cloud-native architecture and modern development practices.

This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for engineers who want more ownership and influence than a typical development role. The organization is building a new innovation-focused engineering hub and is seeking experienced professionals who can contribute to architecture discussions, help establish engineering best practices, and build new capabilities on top of an already successful platform. Team members will have direct input into how products are designed, developed, and scaled. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong C# and .NET Core/.NET experience
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Angular development experience
• JavaScript expertise
• Experience working within Azure environments
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with modern software design patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite in Frisco, TX at least 3 days per week

Desired Skills & Experience

• .NET 6+ experience
• Azure Functions
• Cloud-native application development
• Application modernization initiatives
• Software architecture or technical leadership experience
• Experience within DMV, transportation, or government systems
• Familiarity with AAMVA or NMVTIS
