Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview:

• We are seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer to join a client-facing AI engineering team in Frisco, Texas. This person will work directly with business and technical stakeholders to turn real operational problems into production-ready AI solutions.
• You will analyze existing workflows, identify where generative AI can improve decisions and user experiences, and build the systems that make those solutions work in practice. This is not a research-only role: you will design and implement LLM, RAG, and agentic workflows; integrate them with enterprise applications and data; validate their behavior; and support them through production.
• This is a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity requiring three days per week onsite in Frisco.

Needed Experience

• Hands-on experience discovering, analyzing, and implementing AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience building generative AI, LLM, RAG, AI agent, or intelligent-assistant applications.
• Experience with agentic workflow concepts such as orchestration, tool calling, APIs, state management, memory, routing, or human review.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or another relevant programming language.
• Experience building APIs, backend services, data pipelines, microservices, or enterprise integrations.
• Experience with tools or platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or comparable technologies.
• Experience validating AI outputs, integrations, and workflow behavior in real-world scenarios.
• Experience participating in Agile delivery and working directly with clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Building human-in-the-loop AI workflows with validation, approvals, and escalation paths.
• Implementing evaluation or observability practices for LLM, RAG, or agentic applications.
• Working in a forward-deployed, consulting, solutions engineering, software engineering, or data engineering environment.
