SRE/Infra Engineer - Quant Fund - Singapore

I’m working with a newly established quantitative investment firm in Singapore that is looking to make its first dedicated technology hire. (4+ years of experience at minimum)

This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor and take real ownership of the technology environment supporting the fund.

Rather than stepping into a mature infrastructure setup, you’ll be helping build it from scratch — designing, implementing and improving the systems, infrastructure and tooling that the investment team relies on day to day.

We’re looking for a mid-level Infrastructure / SRE Engineer who is technically hands-on, enjoys solving a broad range of problems and genuinely likes building things rather than simply maintaining an established environment.

The role will cover a mixture of Linux infrastructure, cloud, automation, reliability, monitoring, networking and production systems. Experience with AWS would be particularly useful, alongside scripting/automation skills in Python or Shell.

You don’t need to be a specialist in every area. The key is being a strong all-round engineer who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking ownership in a small, entrepreneurial environment.
