Sr SDET (Networking, Python)

About The Role

As a Senior SDET, you'll architect and lead test automation for complex networking features, scaling frameworks to validate control plane, data plane, and hardware-software interactions. You'll drive best practices in test development and mentor junior SDETs.

What You'll Do

• Architect large-scale automated testing systems for data center and telco networking.
• Design simulation environments reproducing customer topologies (BGP EVPN fabrics, MPLS backbones).
• Lead CI/CD strategy for continuous, automated validation of NOS builds.
• Build and extend advanced test suites using pytest, nose, or equivalent frameworks.
• Mentor SDETs and QA engineers in coding and automation practices.
• Partner with development leads to ensure test coverage aligns with feature roadmaps.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in test automation, preferably in networking or systems.
• Strong expertise in Python and Bash; capable of building 10k+ LOC frameworks.
• Proven experience in test automation frameworks (pytest/nose) and scaling them.
• Deep knowledge of data center networking protocols (BGP, EVPN, MPLS).
• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and Git-based workflows.
