Project Role : DevOps Engineer

Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:

As a DevOps Engineer, your typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. You will focus on creating and maintaining automated pipelines that streamline integration, delivery, and deployment activities. Your role includes ensuring the reliability and security of these systems while collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. You will also monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, continuously improving the development environment to meet evolving project needs and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment processes and infrastructure performance.
• Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and security vulnerabilities.
• Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
• Assist junior team members in understanding and adopting DevOps practices and tools.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• This position is based at our CDC2A - SEZ location.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
