Azure Cloud Engineer

The Opportunity

As our Azure Cloud Engineer, you'll play a key role in the ongoing evolution of Built's cloud platform. Working closely with infrastructure, security, data and application teams, you'll help deliver a secure, scalable and modern Azure environment that enables innovation across the business.

This role can be based in either Brisbane or Sydney.

In This Role, You Will

• Drive the modernisation and continual improvement of Built's Azure platform and cloud operating model.
• Design, implement and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure and platform services.
• Implement infrastructure as code, automation and deployment pipelines to improve efficiency, consistency and reliability.
• Partner with application, data and AI teams to support delivery of cloud-based solutions that enable business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, security, resilience and cost optimisation across the Azure environment.

We're looking for an experienced cloud engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving platforms and enabling teams to deliver their best work.

You'll Bring

• Strong experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• A solid understanding of Azure infrastructure, networking, identity and security services.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for automation, continuous improvement and modern cloud engineering practices.
• The ability to work independently, take ownership and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple technology disciplines.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms within a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry will be highly regarded.
