Infrastructure Technology & Cloud Architect

What You Will Be Doing?

• Define and maintain target infrastructure and cloud architectures.
• Design reference architectures across compute, virtualization, operating systems, networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, identity, security and monitoring.
• Design and support implementation of Microsoft Azure landing zones, including networking, IAM/RBAC, policies, governance, security, logging and monitoring.
• Support modernization, standardization and consolidation of infrastructure across multiple data centers and regional environments.
• Define migration approaches for workloads moving between on-premise, hybrid and cloud platforms.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks and architectural constraints across infrastructure domains.
• Define standards for high availability, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code, automation and reusable deployment patterns using tools such as Terraform and ARM/Bicep.
• Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure automation practices.
• Evaluate technologies, cloud services and vendor solutions and provide technical recommendations.
• Participate in infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, virtualization, OS lifecycle and network/security modernization initiatives.
• Work closely with Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Network, Database and Security teams.
• Support architecture reviews, technical documentation, RFP/RFI activities and vendor evaluations.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, resilience, performance, scalability, operability and cost efficiency.

What Do You Need for the Position?

We are looking for a proactive, experienced Technology & Cloud Architect, with university education in Computer science, Mathematics, Software Engineering and similar, or equivalent experience.

We Expect

• 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, hybrid environments, data center technologies or IT architecture.
• Senior to expert-level knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies and services.
• Strong understanding of: servers and compute platforms, virtualization, operating systems, enterprise networking, storage, backup and recovery, high availability and disaster recovery, identity and access management, monitoring and logging, infrastructure security.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including landing zones, networking, IAM/RBAC, governance, security and monitoring.
• Experience designing cloud, hybrid and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with workload migration, infrastructure modernization and consolidation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform and/or ARM/Bicep.
• Practical understanding of Git, CI/CD, scripting and automation.
• Ability to design end-to-end architectures and understand dependencies and trade-offs across multiple technology domains.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and architecture recommendations.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with local and regional teams, vendors and stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English.

We Consider as a Plus

• Experience in multi-country or regional IT environments.
• Experience with data center consolidation or large infrastructure transformation programs.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure or other cloud certifications.
• Experience with VMware and enterprise storage, backup or network/security platforms.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, banking or financial services
