Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, deployment, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
  • Work with AWS and/or Azure cloud services for application hosting and infrastructure management.
  • Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
  • Manage and maintain Linux-based servers and environments.
  • Work with Docker for containerization and application deployments.
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes environments such as EKS/AKS.
  • Automate routine operational tasks using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
  • Assist in managing logs, alerts, and system monitoring.
  • Support basic cloud networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and security groups.
  • Follow basic DevSecOps and cloud security practices, including access control and secrets management.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, server, and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth application releases.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Maintain proper documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, System Administration, or a related role.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS and/or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one CI/CD tool, such as:
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI
    • Jenkins
  • Working knowledge of Linux systems and command-line operations.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Understanding of Docker and containerization.
  • Basic understanding of Kubernetes is good to have.
  • Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts such as DNS, security groups, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar tools.
  • Basic understanding of cloud security, access management, and secrets management.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
