RESPONSIBILITIES

About this role:

Are you interested in Process Excellence? Are you excited about defining and improving business processes? Would you like to learn the benefits of aligning people, processes and technology to take business performance to the next level? Are you interested in how Lean and Six Sigma can give companies proven tools and techniques to solve business problems in a structured and effective way? Then we are looking for you!

In this role you will:

• Support strategic transformation projects within the Operational Excellence portfolio, provide reporting on deployment, establish clear communication, identify and mitigate risk and ensure timely effort completion
• Ensure compliance (department, state and federal regulations)
• Communicate with varying levels of management and departments across the organization, utilize consulting skills to collaborate with stakeholders
• Formulate recommendations and identify needs of the customer and the business, support the voice of the customer as well as the voice of the business

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, this incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required
• Committed to delivering high-quality work and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Must be able to work independently or in a collaborative team setting

Work Experience and Education

• Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or related with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
• Junior or Senior classification preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Additional knowledge of business transformation tools and techniques a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
• Previous internships are considered a plus.
