Senior DevOps Engineer - AgriTech Sector (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our software development organization. In this role, you will focus on maintaining and developing our GitLab-based build and CI/CD system, along with the surrounding infrastructure that supports our development and testing activities. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement of our systems. This position is remote, allowing you to work flexibly while contributing to impactful projects. Your tasks

• Maintaining and further developing our build system in GitLab, including pipelines, runners, and release automation
• Supporting and improving our AWS environment, managing test servers and services
• Automating processes and tooling using Python or other scripting languages
• Maintaining build configurations for Java-based projects using Maven and Gradle
• Assisting development teams with their day-to-day use of the build and delivery chain

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in an AWS environment
• Solid hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, including runner administration and pipeline design
• Practical AWS experience, including EC2, IAM, and networking
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for building and maintaining automation independently
• Experience with Maven and Gradle for build configuration and dependency management
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Advanced level of English
