Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Iselin, NJ

Contract Length: 6 Months (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $76/hr - $81/hr (OT40)

Role Overview

This role supports a strategic initiative to build a centralized enterprise solution for managing expiration dates, renewals, governance controls, and compliance tracking across certificates, licenses, and other critical assets. The engineer will be instrumental in designing and developing the platform architecture, building both front-end and back-end components, and helping to define the long-term framework for enterprise expiration management. Success in this role requires strong Java and Angular expertise combined with the ability to understand governance, compliance, and operational control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build and maintain a centralized inventory and expiration tracking platform.
• Develop scalable and resilient Microservices and RESTful APIs to support certificate and compliance management workflows.
• Design responsive and user-friendly portal interfaces using Angular.
• Implement governance, reporting, notification, and workflow capabilities.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Java application development within enterprise environments.

Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful APIs, and Microservices Architecture. Experience with JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases is also required.

Additional Qualifications: Experience designing and building portal-based applications, inventory management solutions, or governance platforms. A strong understanding of governance, compliance, and operational controls is necessary. Must have experience supporting applications through the full SDLC, including production support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with certificate management, SSL/TLS certificates, or expiration tracking systems.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Ansible automation.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using platforms like Kafka.
• Experience working in regulated financial services environments.
