About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Forward Deployment Engineer to work directly with customers to design, build, deploy, and optimize mission-critical software solutions. This role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, solution design, technical consulting, and customer engagement.

You will serve as the bridge between customer business needs and engineering teams, translating complex requirements into scalable technical solutions while driving successful deployments in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to understand business processes, technical challenges, and deployment requirements.
• Design and implement customized software solutions using modern cloud-native technologies.
• Deploy and optimize AI, machine learning, data, and enterprise applications in customer environments.
• Build APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to influence product direction based on customer feedback.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across cloud, application, networking, and infrastructure layers.
• Lead customer workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discovery sessions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and production-grade solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI, analytics, and automation technologies.
• Support enterprise-scale deployments across multiple customer environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, consulting, or deployment experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong SQL and data engineering experience.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production.
• Knowledge of LLMs, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar platforms.
• Consulting or client-facing implementation experience.
• Experience supporting Fortune 500 customers.
