The Opportunity

About the Role

As an Equipment Diagnostic Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive reliable, high-performing products and exceptional technical support. You'll diagnose and repair returned equipment, support customer and partner enquiries, validate product updates, and collaborate closely with engineering, operations and customer success teams to improve product performance across the field.

What You'll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair eShepherd products to component level
• Refurbish and test returned equipment ready for redeployment
• Investigate warranty returns and identify root causes
• Support customer and partner technical enquiries
• Validate firmware updates and product releases
• Capture service insights and provide feedback to engineering teams
• Assist in developing service procedures and troubleshooting resources
• Help drive continuous improvement across service operations and customer support activities

What You'll Bring

• Electronics, IT, electrical or related technical qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Experience with IoT devices, firmware updates, CRM systems or inventory management platforms is advantageous
