Senior Azure DevSecOps Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure & AI Infrastructure)

Location: New Jersey ( 100 % Remote )

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Azure DevSecOps - Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team in supporting, automating, and scaling enterprise Azure infrastructure and AI platform services.

In this role, the candidate will lead the provisioning and deployment of complex microservice architectures, token-consumption and metering infrastructure, Azure Container Apps, serverless integrations, and LLM Matrix deployments (Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude endpoints).

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure Native Services, and Container Orchestration, along with hands-on experience establishing CI/CD automation for containerized APIs, reverse proxies, and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Design, build, and maintain modular Terraform/Bicep configurations to provision Azure cloud infrastructure

CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build and manage DevOps, CI/CD pipelines to deploy enterprise applications.

AI & LLM Platform Deployment: Provision and maintain GenAI & AI/ML infrastructure.

Microservices & Container Hosting: Deploy and manage scalable container environments.

Governance, RBAC & Security: Implement fine-grained Azure RBAC roles, Managed Identities, and secure secret handling across pipeline deployments and microservices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Cloud Platform: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. AZ400 Certification preferred,

Infrastructure as Code: Advanced skills in Terraform (or Bicep/ARM templates) for modular, production-grade cloud provisioning.

CI/CD & Automation: Expertise with GitHub Actions, including self-hosted Linux runners, automated builds, release pipelines, and deployment validation scripts (Regression.JSON).

Containers & Serverless: Deep hands-on experience with Azure Container Apps (ACA), Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Function Apps, and App Service Plans.

Event-Driven Architecture: Experience setting up Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, and event subscription workflows.

Security & Access Control: Proficiency in Azure IAM/RBAC, User-Assigned Managed Identities, and private endpoint routing.

Nice-to-Have / Preferred Qualifications

Experience provisioning endpoints and hosting wrappers for Large Language Models (Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini).

Experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) integrations.
