KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Cloud Solution Architect (Azure & IaC Specialist) to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization supporting the KPMG Workbench AI platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural vision, strategy, and design of highly secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise cloud workloads within Microsoft Azure, establishing long-term technical roadmaps and cross-platform integrations across Azure, GCP, and enterprise ecosystems
• Define and enforce global Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards utilizing Terraform for automated, consistent deployments, while driving SDLC governance, automated testing, code quality reviews, and robust DevOps/MLOps practices
• Architect and manage sophisticated hybrid-cloud network topologies including ExpressRoutes, Azure Virtual WAN, hub-and-spoke VNets, NSGs, and firewall rules to secure cross-premises and perimeter connectivity
• Design secure API integration solutions using Azure APIM and OAuth standards to support the Workbench program, incorporating Azure security tooling and architectural best practices for AI/LLM model implementations
• Mobilize, guide, and coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams across engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps to execute complex system implementations and resolve high-level technical challenges
• Serve as the primary technical authority for senior stakeholders to align business goals with Azure execution roadmaps, while implementing Azure Policies, Management Groups, and FinOps frameworks to optimize costs and platform security
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum eight years of recent experience architecting Azure native services, with professional-level credentials or similar experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; Master's degree or MBA from an accredited college or university is a plus
• Proven track record of leveraging Terraform to manage complex, multi-subscription Azure landscapes.
• Strong grasp of software-defined networking, routing, DNS, load balancing, and private endpoint integrations
• Experience leading and scaling larger software delivery or cloud platform teams, driving collaborative architectural reviews, and mentoring junior engineers
