SCADA Analyst

Tulsa, OK

$70–$73/hour

Contract with chance of extension or conversion to full time employee

Hybrid – Monday through Thursday in office; Friday work from home

No travel required

We’re looking for an experienced SCADA Analyst IV to help design, support, and improve SCADA and OT data solutions within a complex energy environment.

This is a senior-level opportunity for someone who brings deep SCADA expertise along with strong experience integrating operational technology with modern enterprise data platforms. You’ll work closely with Operations, Engineering, OT, IT, and business stakeholders to turn operational requirements into scalable, reliable technical solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze complex business and operational requirements and translate them into SCADA system requirements and functional designs
• Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and help ensure projects stay on schedule
• Develop short- and long-term SCADA solutions that support evolving business needs
• Coordinate with internal users and external customers to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Design and support OT data pipelines integrating SCADA, ACM, Kepware, MQTT/Sparkplug B, HiveMQ, and edge technologies
• Deliver reliable operational data to enterprise platforms such as Databricks
• Troubleshoot and optimize polling engines, communication channels, edge devices, and OT data flows
• Improve data quality, availability, and performance across SCADA and OT environments
• Transform, validate, and contextualize operational data for reporting, analytics, machine learning, and business decision-making
• Partner across Operations, Engineering, OT, and IT to drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in SCADA or a related technical/team leadership role
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including OPC, Modbus, DNP3, and MQTT
• Extensive SQL experience
• Experience with Databricks, Python, Power BI, and cloud-based data architectures
• Ability to diagnose complex OT data quality, communications, and system integration issues
• Knowledge of network operations and telecommunications
• Understanding of various flow computer protocols
• Energy industry experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with ClearSCADA, AutoSol, Kepware, and OPC protocols - major plus!
• Windows programming, including Python, VBScript, and/or Ladder Logic
• Database development and management
