Product Manager

Are you a Product Manager who enjoys taking ownership of business systems, shaping roadmaps and finding better ways for technology to support an organisation?

This is a newly created Product Manager role where you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of internal products across Finance, HR and Property Management. Your focus will be on maximising the value of these systems, improving how they work together and ensuring new functionality translates into genuine business improvements.

What you'll be doing

• Own and develop product roadmaps across a portfolio of internal business systems.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, HR, Property and Technology stakeholders.
• Understand business challenges and identify where existing products can solve them.
• Work closely with suppliers, keeping ahead of new features and influencing their roadmaps where possible.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and remove unnecessary manual work.
• Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to deliver larger change initiatives.
• Support the evaluation and selection of future platforms, including planned changes within the finance systems landscape.
• Become the internal product expert, understanding how changes to one system could impact the wider technology estate.

What we're looking for

You could already be working in Product Management, Product Ownership or Business Systems, or have progressed through an Application Support background and taken increasing ownership for product improvement.

You'll ideally bring experience of:

• Owning or developing internal business applications.
• Creating and managing product roadmaps.
• Working with third-party technology suppliers.
• Translating business needs into product improvements.
• Process improvement and automation.
• Managing stakeholders across different business functions.
• Challenging established ways of working and supporting organisational change.

This isn't a commercially focused SaaS Product Manager position. You'll be managing products used internally and focusing on the value they deliver to colleagues and the wider organisation.
Initially, success will mean understanding the existing product landscape, building relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, and creating clear roadmaps that identify both quick wins and longer-term improvements.

The role offers a hybrid working setup with 2 days a week in Coventry and a top end salary of £50k.
