Software Engineer

Software Engineers will build custom solutions within Salesforce and other platforms. This role involves evaluating technical requirements for feasibility, assisting with technical designs, and providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex business requirements, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Salesforce capabilities including when to use programmatic vs. declarative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and architects to analyze technical requirements and design customized Salesforce solutions
• Provide technical consultation, ensuring best practices for Salesforce implementation and usage
• Develop solutions requiring custom code within Salesforce
• When necessary, develop custom applications or solutions on platforms outside of Salesforce
• Implement comprehensive test cases/classes to ensure code coverage requirements are met, business goals are achieved, and optimal performance is maintained
• Maintain expertise on Salesforce advancements and technology trends to enhance client strategies

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Salesforce custom development including Apex Classes, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components
• Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD) principles and processes
• Expertise in systems integrations (APIs, IPaaS, and middleware solutions)
• Experience with test classes and QA best practices
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Platform Developer, Data Architect, or Integration Architect (preferred)
• Background in data modeling, security frameworks, and compliance considerations (preferred)
