Job Description – Business Analytics Lead Analyst Responsibilities Application Development & Support

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain applications using .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Develop new application functionality and enhance existing applications based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, code documentation, and support materials.
• Collaborate with team members to develop application designs and technical solutions.
• Develop intuitive user interfaces and reporting tools that improve the user experience.
• Support application releases and production deployments. Data & Reporting Solutions
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SQL, VBA, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, tables, and views to support reporting and application needs.
• Support enterprise reporting environments and ensure data quality, availability, and performance.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis requests and ongoing reporting enhancements.
• Develop dashboards and data visualization solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Research, analyze, and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues. Business Analysis & Collaboration
• Work with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to support project delivery and application enhancements.
• Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Assist in identifying process improvements and opportunities for automation.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
• Support internal users and help resolve application and reporting inquiries. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing applications using .NET technologies.
• Strong experience with:
• C#
• VB.NET
• ASP.NET
• SQL Server
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• HTML5/CSS3
• Experience developing and supporting web-based and/or Windows applications.
• Strong SQL skills including query development, stored procedures, table creation, views, and data analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft VBA, including automation and Excel-based solutions.
• Experience performing application testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
• Experience with Python development is preferred. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or self-service business applications.
• Healthcare, PBM, or related industry experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong documentation skills.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation) 

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $50.00/hour-$52.00/hour
