DH Payments team delivers #FinTech solutions is currently expanding our KYC team and we are looking for a KYC Agent to join us!

A Know Your Customer (KYC) agent is responsible for conducting KYC/KYB due diligence on merchants, including the verification of legal entities, business information, ownership structures and associated individuals. The role involves reviewing and validating relevant information and documentation, identifying potential risk indicators, and ensuring that customers meet applicable regulatory and internal compliance requirements. They review and validate customer documents, conduct background checks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. KYC agents play a crucial role in financial institutions, maintaining accurate records and mitigating risks associated with customer onboarding and transactions. At the same time you will make sure that our partners will receive the best onboarding experience while, at the same time, the Company's objectives and deadlines are successfully met.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor the end-to-end KYC/KYB process across assigned markets, including customer onboarding, ongoing reviews and remediation activities, while coordinating with internal and external teams where applicable. 
• Conduct quality checks to provide insights and analyses to the team lead.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Collect and analyse key information in accordance with the regulations of the competent auditing authorities
• Ensure appropriate and confidential handling/sharing of sensitive information
• Draw statistics and develop reports in order to generate analyses based on provided data and identify cases requiring additional review and escalate them to the relevant internal teams in line with established procedures.  
   

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• 1-3 years of experience in Customer onboarding, ideally KYC-related

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Being problem-solving oriented, able to strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess cases, identify gaps and determine the appropriate next steps. 

• Being a team player! Team spirit is necessary as you will be part of a highly interactive and dynamic team

• Adaptability and openness to change, with the ability to adjust to evolving processes, priorities and business needs.  

• Being multitasking and critical thinking with an ability to prioritize and handle both incoming and outgoing contacts

• Strong understanding of customer expectations with a focus on quality-driven support

• Fluency in Greek and English is a must. German knowledge is considered a plus but not essential

• Focused on details and meeting the Company’s deadlines

• Understanding of KYC/KYB and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) principles will be considered an advantage.  

• Prior experience in data analysis or in handling large data sets will be considered a plus

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in a Finance, Law or related field
