Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, operating systems, and deployment reliability in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend services and infrastructure deployments.
• Manage and support Linux and Windows-based systems across cloud, development, and edge-device environments.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and services, primarily in Azure environments.
• Work with containerized environments and support Docker/Kubernetes-based workloads and deployments.
• Automate OS deployment, provisioning, configuration, patching, and updates for Cust2Mate’s edge devices in the field.
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for system provisioning, deployment, scaling, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code and automation practices.
• Support networking configuration and troubleshooting across cloud and on-prem environments, including connectivity, VPNs, DNS, routing, and firewall related issues.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications, investigate incidents, and help improve system reliability, resilience, and deployment velocity.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to improve operational processes and deployment workflows.
• Write and maintain clear technical and operational documentation.
• Contribute to operational best practices, security, and continuous improvement initiatives across the infrastructure stack.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, System Administration, or related technical roles.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and related services (Azure experience is a strong advantage).
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Hands-on experience with containerized environments and tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with OS provisioning and automation, including imaging, unattended installations, deployment, and support tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, …).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and automation practices.
• Experience with networking concepts and troubleshooting in cloud and on-prem environments (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, load balancers, etc.).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Basic scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a proactive, startup-oriented mindset.
