Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, architecture, automation, DevOps, and enterprise application environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, CI/CD, networking, security, monitoring, and cloud migration. The candidate will work closely with development, security, architecture, and operations teams to build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage cloud environments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with services such as AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, or equivalent Azure/Google Cloud Platform services.
• Configure and manage cloud networking including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
• Implement cloud security best practices involving IAM, encryption, key management, secrets management, and security policies.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, networking, and performance-related issues.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Support cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, deployment, and optimization.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.

Required Technical Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, or related areas.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM / Bicep.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and cloud security.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform certification is a plus.
• Experience with DevSecOps and cloud security.
• Experience with Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or other distributed technologies.
• Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Knowledge of AI/ML cloud infrastructure and GenAI platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
