Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Project Manager to lead critical business and technology initiatives. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong combination of technical project management expertise, stakeholder engagement capabilities, and a proven track record delivering complex projects within enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring excellence in delivery, governance, and stakeholder management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising technical specialists, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver valuable, scalable, and sustainable business outcomes in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects, including planning, implementation, adoption initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop project documentation including charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, RAID logs, and risk registers to support complex project delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including technical specialists, architects, analysts, business representatives, and external vendors.
• Oversee technical and business workstreams involving enterprise systems, infrastructure, cloud environments, application integrations, and operational processes.
• Utilise Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, workshops, and steering committee meetings.
• Manage vendor relationships, including procurement activities, contract management, and third-party solution implementations.
• Ensure projects align with business objectives, governance requirements, and organisational standards.
• Embed strong governance, privacy, security, and compliance considerations across project deliverables.
• Lead change management activities, user adoption programs, training initiatives, production cutovers, outage coordination, and post-implementation reviews.
• Monitor and report on project KPIs, benefits realisation, budgets, risks, and progress, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
• Identify risks and dependencies early, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation, and roadmap development for future business and technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 7-10+ years of project management experience within technical or technology-focused environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex infrastructure, cloud, enterprise application, security, or business improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and delivery best practices.
• Technical understanding of enterprise applications, infrastructure, integration environments, and cloud platforms.
• Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills across both technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexities into business-focused outcomes for senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing change initiatives, system cutovers, outages, and migrations.
