DevOps Engineer
Contract: 3+ Months

DevOps Engineer Key Accountabilities
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating and enhancing deployment processes for Data Science and Analytics solutions within the Data Science Unit.
Within the Data Science Unit, the DevOps Engineer will:
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for Databricks solutions using Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployment, testing and release processes across development, test and production environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Support Data Scientists with source control, environment management and deployment best practices.
- Monitor and optimise platform reliability, security and performance.
DevOps Engineer Skills
Essential Technical / Non-Technical
- Strong 5+ experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and release management.
- Experience with Git source control.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with PowerShell or Bash, Python scripting and YAML.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps best practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or 5 years of role specific experience.
Highly Desirable Technical / Non-Technical
- Experience with Databricks deployment and environment management.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for Databricks.
- Experience supporting MLOps, machine learning, AI solutions or Data Science front-end Applications.
- Experience providing technical advice and recommendations on DevOps practices.
