We are looking for an experienced L3 Cloud Engineer ( Oracle Exadata Cloud , GCP , Database Expert) to join our team and work on mission-critical database platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 support for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Sybase databases
• Perform database migrations from on-premises environments to private cloud and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Execute database patching, upgrades, backup, restore, and recovery activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues while implementing long-term solutions
• Ensure database availability, security, scalability, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to resolve complex production incidents
• Participate in conference calls, technical discussions, and client-facing engagements

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of database administration/support experience within the IT industry
• 2 to 3 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments in production
• OCM certification or equivalent expertise preferred
• Hands-on experience with GCP native databases and MongoDB
• Strong experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MS SQL Server, and Sybase administration

Technical Skills

• Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) administration and support
• Performance tuning, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and database optimization
• High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, recovery, and migration strategies
• Database upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
• GCP architecture design for scalability, performance, and resilience
• Knowledge of encryption technologies (data-at-rest and data-in-transit) across Oracle and Google Cloud environments
• Scripting and automation using Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies
• Experience with GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and DevOps methodologies
• Strong understanding of network, connectivity, and firewall architectures
