Cloud Engineer (Azure + GCP)

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Location: Delhi/NCR and Pune


Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, implement, automate, and support cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud migration, infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and cloud security while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure and GCP environments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and other automation tools.
  • Support cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
  • Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.


Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Azure services such as:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Virtual Networks (VNet)
  • Azure Storage
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Monitor
  • Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Experience with GCP services such as:
  • Compute Engine
  • Cloud Storage
  • Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Cloud Functions
  • Cloud Monitoring
  • IAM
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).


Preferred Skills

  • Multi-cloud architecture and migration experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures.
  • Understanding of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI/ML platform deployments on Azure or GCP.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications such as:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect
  • Google Associate Cloud Engineer
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect
