🚀 Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS & Kubernetes (m/f/d)

📍 Munich, Germany

We're partnering with an established technology organisation in Munich looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, scale and optimise its cloud infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role working across AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD, with significant ownership over infrastructure architecture, automation and platform reliability.

You'll work closely with software engineering teams while helping shape DevOps standards, technical decisions and the future direction of the cloud environment.

💻 What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and continuously improve cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Manage and scale Kubernetes-based environments
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Automate deployment and infrastructure workflows
• Work closely with software engineers on architecture and infrastructure decisions
• Improve platform reliability, scalability and performance
• Develop logging, monitoring and tracing capabilities
• Drive DevOps and infrastructure engineering best practices
• Evaluate new technologies and AI-assisted engineering tools

✅ What We're Looking For

• Several years of commercial DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Infrastructure as Code and automation knowledge
• Experience with modern cloud and distributed system architectures
• Good understanding of infrastructure security, reliability and performance
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical and architectural decisions
• German language skills at B2 level or above

• Experience with Helm
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Datadog or Prometheus
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, ECR, EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Redis
• Experience using AI tools or coding agents within engineering workflows
