DevOps & Platform Engineering

We're Hiring | Lead, DevOps & Platform Engineering (5-15 Years)

Location- Mumbai / Bangalore

Kotak Neo is undertaking a large-scale technology transformation, rebuilding critical platforms from the ground up. We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead, DevOps & Platform Engineering professional to build and scale the platform that powers our next-generation trading, risk, data, and observability systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Kubernetes and infrastructure platforms across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), GitOps, CI/CD, and platform automation at scale.
• Establish observability standards, SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and performance engineering.
• Lead datacenter migration initiatives, platform security, governance, and compliance requirements.
• Optimize platform reliability, scalability, security, and infrastructure costs.
• Build and mentor high-performing platform engineering teams.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering, with 3+ years leading teams.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS or equivalent), Linux, Networking, and Security.
• Strong experience in CI/CD, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), Infrastructure Automation, and Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Experience operating mission-critical, highly regulated production environments.

Preferred Skills -

• Capital Markets, Trading Platforms, or Payments Infrastructure experience.
• Datacenter migration and hybrid cloud expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Exposure to SEBI CSCRF, RBI Cyber Security Guidelines, or similar regulatory frameworks.
