About this role:Within Consumer Marketing's Lifecycle team, you'll lead promotional strategy and execution as Udemy's two brands converge onto a single skills platform. You'll own the promotional calendar end-to-end, building campaign specs and go-to-market briefs that align creative, channel, and lifecycle teams around a single execution plan. This is a hands-on role where you'll define and build each campaign, monitor live performance, drive mid-course adjustments, and partner closely with Pricing, Commercial Policy, and Data Science teams to ensure promotions adhere to policy while meeting revenue and user experience targets. You'll report directly to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing.

Core responsibility: plan and execute promotional campaigns aligned with commercial policy and performance targets.
What you'll be doing:- Build campaign specs and go-to-market briefs for each Udemy promotion, aligning creative, channel, and lifecycle teams around a single execution plan.
- Partner with Pricing and Commercial Policy teams on discount guardrails, eligibility rules, and cadence caps, translating policy into a calendar Marketing can run confidently.
- Lead monitoring and daily tracking of live promotions, and drive mid-course pivots when performance calls for it.
- Lead campaign forecasting, experimentation plans, post-campaign reporting and analysis with Data Science, sizing incrementality and using it to inform the next cycle's targeting and offer mix.
- Be accountable for overall campaign performance and ensure that overall user experience is consistent and in adherence with the campaign brief.
- Own the project management of the campaign from conception through completion, ensuring that creative, channel activation, user experience, and performance are aligned with the promotional campaign strategy.
- 8+ years of experience in promotions marketing, ideally at a subscription or marketplace consumer business.
- Demonstrated history of owning a promotional or campaign calendar end-to-end, from planning through execution to post-mortem.
- Experience partnering with Pricing, Commercial Policy/Legal, and Data Science teams to translate financial guardrails into a runnable marketing calendar and data into actionable insights.
- Experience with project management, including the ability to coordinate creative, channel, and regional stakeholders against firm dates.
- Background in reading and analyzing promotional performance data, with the ability to translate findings into changes for the next cycle.
- Experience running promotions across more than one brand or platform simultaneously.
At Udemy, we strive to be transparent around compensation. Actual compensation for this role is based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for equity.
Hiring Compensation Range: $129,000 - 173,500
Colorado Hiring Compensation Range: $139,000 - 173,500
