Senior AWS Software & DevOps Engineer — Hands-On Startup Role

We’re a fast-moving technology startup looking for a Senior AWS Software & DevOps Engineer who wants to build, not manage from the sidelines.

This is a combined Software Engineering and DevOps role. We’re a small, highly technical team, and DevOps isn’t a separate department—it’s directly embedded in our software development lifecycle and engineering team.

This is a 100% hands-on-keyboard role. No slide decks. No paper pushing. No layers of process. You’ll design and build backend services, create and maintain cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and work side-by-side with our software engineers throughout the entire SDLC.

Location: Hazlet, NJ

Schedule: Full-time, in-office 5 days per week

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone senior enough to own problems end-to-end, but who still loves writing code, building infrastructure, digging through logs, improving CI/CD, troubleshooting production systems, and figuring things out.

You should have strong hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code, specifically using tools such as CloudFormation and AWS CDK, along with the ability to script and automate using Python and Bash.

Because we’re a small company, there is no wall between development and DevOps. The same engineers who build our products help architect, deploy, operate, monitor, and improve them. You’ll be an integral part of that team.
